In Memoriam – Captain Buck Morris
IN MEMORIAM
SCADA is saddened to inform you of the death of D. P. Morris, Sr. of Charleston. Known to most as Captain Buck, he began Morris Datsun in 1965 and was a supporter of SCADA for many years. The Morris family worked in the automotive field for 50 years. Captain Buck was 96 years old.
Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, April 11th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at J. Henry Stuhrs Funeral Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
Captain Buck’s funeral will be Thursday, 2:00 PM at Johns Island Presbyterian Church located at 2550 Bohicket Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455. A celebration of life will follow at The Island House, 2658 Swygert Blvd, Johns Island, SC 29455 at Ross Marine around 3:30PM.
Memorials may be made to the S. C. Memorial Reef, P. O. Box 12559, Charleston, SC 29422-2559.
Captain Buck leaves behind two sons Bucky, David, a daughter Pam, his special friend Andrea Prettyman, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
